Today my home wireless printer decided it would print (and connect to the laptop) after three days of not connecting. That’s good.
It then printed the three day backlog of files sent to the printer. Which is not so good.
stojg @billbennett I can’t have a website remembered my signed-in cookies, but a printer queue will probably survive a full reinstallation 😉
Paul H :tinoflag: @billbennett I find it amazing that WiFi can sometimes mysteriously stop working and then start again equally mysteriously, all without any human intervention. Maybe someone three doors microwaved their noodles for too long, I dunno. It can be so random sometimes.
Colin Jackson @paulhellyer @billbennett I find WiFi can be tamed by the right combination of prosumer equipment and a little knowledge, but each printer is possessed by a malign spirit that requires periodic propitiation
