I’ll admit, after having my iPhone 8 since 2017, I’m a bit out of touch. Mainly Apple, Samsung, and Huawei now, right?

As someone recovering from Windows phone use, I can tell you that from the very beginning it never had the apps. No one wrote anything for it.

@billbennett.bsky.social That’s true. Of course 90% of apps could just as well be webpages. There were a few good WP apps, although I’m damned if I can remember any of them. What I remember more is that some of the WP clones and workalikes of popular apps were awful.
