Was confused by all the Thanksgiving posts I can see on Micro.blog until I realised that Canada has a different Thanksgiving day to the US.

Now I’m curious. Are they giving thanks for the same thing?

I have no idea, (not being Canadian), but if there’s one North American holiday I wish we would celebrate here, that we don’t, it’s thanksgiving. Both for similar reasons, and in general, for being blessed with so much.

@odd Here in New Zealand it would coincide with Easter, which would be strange. Actually Easter in the Southern Hemisphere IS kind of strange already.
